Project Description
Granite Construction Northeast I Fujitech JV selected Smalls Electrical Construction to perform tasks of upgrading the wiring of 16 escalators and installing a new station fire alarm system in one of New York City Transit’s largest and busiest stations serving approximately 500,000 passengers daily.
Coordination, public safety, and maintaining passenger flow were critical components of this project which Granite’s project management team handled exceptionally well.
