Jamaica Van Wyck Station

The MTA has invested $13,397,000.00 to ensure that passengers who use the Jamaica Van Wyck station continue to be able to access the station platform by replacing the stations 5 escalators.

Smalls embarked on our second project with Skanska USA Civil Northeast in order to accomplish this task for the New York City Transit.  Our scope involves the removal and replacement of the station fire alarm system, along with new communications, power, and lighting wiring associated with the stations escalators.

This project is scheduled to be completed March 2009.
